Place the guestbook table beside the booth, outside the photo queue. Confirm an extra-print policy, provide suitable pens and adhesive, and assign someone to prompt guests and collect the book. Do not assume guestbook supplies or duplicate prints are included in a rental.
Start with the extra-print question
Guests often want to take their photo home. A guestbook needs another copy, so ask whether the package includes an extra print per session, per group, or on request. The phrase unlimited prints can mean different things in different proposals.
Confirm the print format before buying an album. A page designed around narrow photo strips may not suit a larger postcard-style print. Leave room for handwriting rather than filling every page with photos.
Keep signing separate from shooting
The camera should not wait while a group writes a message. Put the guestbook on its own table near print pickup, with enough room for someone to stand comfortably without blocking the next group.
Use a short sign: Take a photo, keep a copy, leave a copy and a note. Put the supplies where guests can see them. Choose adhesive appropriate for the album and test the pen on the paper before the event; a smudged message is hard to repair.
Give the guestbook an owner
Ask whether the booth attendant will help with the guestbook or whether that is outside their role. If it is not included, assign a willing friend or coordinator to check supplies and encourage participation without standing guard all evening.
Guests who do not use the booth should still be able to leave a message. Keep a few pages open for notes without photos. If children are participating, keep loose supplies and the table placement appropriate for your event.
Finish with a clear end-of-night handoff
Name the person who collects the book, loose prints, and unused supplies. Keep those items out of the rental equipment breakdown area. If prints need time to settle or adhesive to hold, do not stack loose pages immediately.
After the wedding, store the album according to its material instructions. If a digital gallery is included, confirm how long it stays available and download the files you want to keep. A printed guestbook and an online gallery serve different purposes; neither should be assumed to replace the other.
Put this into your event plan
Confirm equipment, package inclusions, and venue requirements for your date. Planning guidance is not a promise that every option is included in every rental.
